Owner/Senior Resource Adviser

As the owner of Home Care Assistance in El Dorado Hills, it is an honor to serve our community. We opened our office in 2014 with goals to provide best in class services to enable seniors to age at home with all necessary support to lead a dignified valued life. Our success is tied to our great management team and our amazing caregivers. We have two Gerontologists on our management team. Many of our caregivers are CNA’s, college educated and retired medical professionals. With a solid team we also have very low turnover in an industry with annual turnover approaching 75%. My family has lived in El Dorado County since 2001. I hold a B.S. degree in Psychology from Tulane University and and M.B.A. from California State Polytechnic University. I am Senior Council of the El Dorado County Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee for the Board of Supervisors. I serve on the El Dorado Hills Senior Support Council at the Gilmore Center. Lastly, I am a Chamber Ambassador with the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce.

April Ceballos
Client Care Manager/Gerontologist

I have a deep love of working with older adults. I moved to the Sacramento area in 2004 and started working with older adults in a skilled nursing setting. I knew I had found my true passion. In 2009, I went to school specializing in Gerontology. I graduated from American River College with an Associate Degree in Case Management in Gerontology and went onto California State University, Sacramento to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Gerontology. My focus is to help people stay as independent as possible, aging in their own home and achieve their goals while maintaining a desired quality of life. I feel blessed to be at Home Care Assistance of El Dorado County, and very proud to be a Gerontologist.
